I gotta agree, these thoughts crossed my suspicious mind, too. Mack has worked hard to have a positive public image, I'd rather believe it is warranted. But on the other hand, since you've posted this they've concluded it was arson... and they've also began the insurance pay out... which he has donated generously to the fire depts that helped fight the fire.
