OK, so in 2004 there were six MLB franchises that had never made a World Series appearance. In 2005, I watch the Astros make their first appearance in franchise history from my apartment in Denver.
Now I am in Dallas watching as the Rockies (?!) are only two innings away from sweeping Arizona to win the NL Championship.
Clearly, all you need to do to win your first pennant is have me live in your city... then move.
As this will surely have me evicted from Dallas by Rangers' Fans, I am currently accepting bribes from Tampa, Seattle, and Washington. Also accepting bribes from cities that would like those teams not to win their division.
